Great hospital! Great Staff! Both my mum and dad were admitted straight away with no wait, when they had heart attacks respectively. It pains and annoys me to see people rate the a&e so lowly. This isn't first come first serve, they treat based on severity of the illness. To those who have complaints about waits of over 6 hour's, all I'll say is if you're still alive after 6 hours of not being treated, well it obviously wasn't an emergency! Either go see you're GP or put up and shut up! Finally a word to all the nurses and doctors out their, times are tough and you deserve better from the government and from the public. Keep doing what you're doing and thanks for saving my mum's and dad's life. I don't know what I'd do without them!
Delivered my baby there. Midwife was amazing and everything was amazing! Anyone who finds a problem with waiting times- blame the people on benefits that make your prestige self have to wait! Get real you puddings, if you dont like waiting go private!

Attended for an appointment today to see a consultant regarding an accident i had several months ago. I arrived much sooner than I needed because I was worried about being caught in traffic and being late. When I arrived I spoke to a member of staff and explained why I was there and was directed to an underground car park. Luckily they were not busy so allowed me to park early. Normally 20 minutes before your appointment apparently. All the staff I encountered were highly professional and very polite. I was shown to the waiting room where there was tea and coffee. The place was spotlessly clean as it should be. I was seen by the consultant and left to be ushered out by the staff in the car park. A really easy and relaxing experience from start to finish.
Mr veysi T veysi my surgeon and his team I can't thank eough. But thanl you all
Seacroft Hospital, York Rd, Leeds LS14 6WB, UK – 0113 855 6300
Located in the grounds of what is left of Seacroft NHS hospital The Newsome centre is the mental health unit . The main hospital clock tower is very visible on your left. When you first enter the grounds using sat nav you are then on your own . It’s not very well signed but if you turn right across the front of the outpatients department and follow the road you will come across a small car park . There is a sign telling you you are at the unit . There are several disabled bays and access up to the unit is wheelchair accessible . Despite your feelings of trepidation having seen the building site that is Seacroft Hospital with parts demolished and parts boarded up it’s a pleasant surprise to come to the entrance of Newsome which is in good order and appears to have been rebuilt from the ground up ! When you get inside the reception is on your front left where you must sign in and have a valid reason to be there. The unit is secure . We were met by the nurse who showed us where to go and ensured everything was fine during our visit . Booking out also important . Overall a good visit in a modern unit .
I've been in this centre for mental health problems it's a fantastic place to be. It has great professional members of staff.
