Relies on self service. Very few counter staff. The way of all banks today. Good central location.
I visited this branch on Saturday morning at 11:30 with my brother who was on a short visit at the UK and we dealt with Emily Long who was absolutely amazing. She was very efficient, precise and thorough in addition to her ability to recognise who to trust. She had shown culture understanding and this is quite important as sometimes we meet staff who are lost, confused and make our visit to the bank annoying and stressful. Emily definitely deserves a raise and promotion.

Staff are always very friendly. Two drawbacks are that there is no cash machine inside so you have to withdraw outside the building (less safe and also less comfortable) and there is no cash deposit machine like in other locations.
Staff here are very friendly and wonderfully helpful!

I have always been satisfied with the service they have provided me.
Their main Head Office branch. Pleasant staff and a typical building society branch.

Lots of history. 2 recent events, a conference and a Leeds council event. Both events were well organised by the backroom staff and the catering was good; varied & enjoyed by all. As a venue to host events, it's different to the usual corporate venue, having lots of history and being an impressive building.
Was here for the LEEDS light show absolutely fantastic such a wonderful building love the architecture x

The town hall is classical in style but baroque in imaginative power and drama. It stands squarely at the top of a flight of steps (altered from their original shape) on a mound made specially for the purpose. The whole facade is made of giant columns and all the sides reflect that pattern. The central portico has ten huge Corinthian columns. Then there is an immense frieze and rising above it all the central tower, 225 ft (69 m) high, which was not in the original design. The Victoria Hall rises to 92 ft (28 m) inside the parallelogram of surrounding rooms and corridors and the enclosing colonnades. The carving of the tympanum over the front entrance represents Leeds encouraging the arts and sciences. The four Portland stone lions on plinths along the frontage, modeled at London Zoo, contrast with the sandstone of the building itself. The town hall provided accommodation for municipal departments, a courtroom, police station or 'central charge office', and a venue for concerts and civic events. It still has a role as a council office, although many departments have been relocated. The principal performance space, the richly decorated Victoria Hall, is a venue for orchestral concerts. Its concert organ, the largest three manual example in Europe, is used for lunchtime organ recitals.
We attended Leeds Town Hall to see the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra and I was so surprised to find a concert hall inside, I had no idea there was anything like that inside. I'd attended a wedding there previously in one of the function rooms. The sound was great.

Arshid and the Dental Nurses really made me feel at ease following a series of appointments elsewhere which had made me very nervous. They gave me confidence whilst sitting in the Dentists chair and the end results have been excellent.
I have attended this clinic with Arshid as my dentist for almost 10 years. He performs a 1st class standard of work and always makes me feel welcome, reassured and relaxed. I have received care from both Viv and Ruth the hygienists who are fantastic at what they do. The dental nurses and reception staff also add to the excellent experience.

Dr Borkowska is the nicest dentist I've ever had!
Excellent dentists and friendly staff
192 Selby Rd, Leeds LS15 0LF, UK – 0113 260 0192
So far I've had very decent service. Phonelines are very easy to get through, reception staff and dentists very professional and helpful and very considerate if you have additional illnesses and complications. I recently had an abcess and rang in the morning desperate for an emergency appointment and was seen 4 hours later. They managed to reduce the pain and booked me in for two weeks time for further treatment. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Only downside I could see is that as they are quite a small practice they may not be able to take in large quantities of patients. So if you get in with them, keep hold of them.

Doctors like all doctors should be. Simple.
Wonderful Doctors and Staff.
St Martins Practice, 319 Chapeltown Rd, Leeds LS7 3JT, UK – 0113 262 1013
Dr field is excellent and If was allowed to stay at the surgery I would always go back to dr field. But as I have moved a little further out of the area one receptionist is very insistent that I move surgeries even wen I was unwell and having Problemen she kept reminding me I will have to move so that is what I'm having to do but other than the one receptionist the surgery is brilliant

Great hospital! Great Staff! Both my mum and dad were admitted straight away with no wait, when they had heart attacks respectively. It pains and annoys me to see people rate the a&e so lowly. This isn't first come first serve, they treat based on severity of the illness. To those who have complaints about waits of over 6 hour's, all I'll say is if you're still alive after 6 hours of not being treated, well it obviously wasn't an emergency! Either go see you're GP or put up and shut up! Finally a word to all the nurses and doctors out their, times are tough and you deserve better from the government and from the public. Keep doing what you're doing and thanks for saving my mum's and dad's life. I don't know what I'd do without them!
It's a great hospital! My son was on the pediatric ward and then transferred to the surgical ward which both wards have such polite and well mannered nurses/doctors. They are very understanding and sympathetic about situations and explain any precedures thoroughly. So much better than our local hospital! Thanks.

Not Bad but the staff could be better.

I had a mild heart attack in December 16 and was treat at Pinderfields who did a wonderful job and I was back up and about. However, after four months the symptoms reappeared and I went to my GP who referred me back to NHS. I received a letter saying it was 6-8weeks for an urgent case. I spoke to my health provider who got me an appointment with a consultant at Nuffield in two days and I went to see him and he diagnosed possible re-narrowing of the artery. I was given the pre-op assessment while I was there and booked in for the procedure in two weeks.I then received a telephone call to say a space had become vacant on Monday so from consultant to procedure was six days . I arrived on the Monday at 3 o'clock and was greeted in reception and then taken to my room where everything was explained. From then on everything moved smoothly and I was back in the room by 7 o'clock with the procedure complete. I was monitored overnight and at 10 am was released. I cannot thank them enough for the efficient service which I received and the staff were so professional and caring.

Mosaic central is (as the name might suggest) Mosaic Church's most ‘middle’ gathering (geographically), now meeting in Leeds Beckett student union there is a real draw with students and young professionals in this congregation but don’t let that put you off if you’re any older or younger! Mosaic is made up of a diverse group of people from all backgrounds, familiar with Church, and not. Come to mosaic central if you want to know more about who Jesus is and how He is changing lives in Leeds.
A church gathering full of broken people who seek to love Jesus and spread his love to the world around them, both near and far.
Upper Accommodation Rd, Leeds LS9 8JP, UK – 0113 264 5831
Go here for kidz club & messy church with my little boy, who absolutely loves it. Crafts & games for all kids. People who run it are lovely and very friendly. If your not into religion, you are still accepted & it isn't forced upon you to be a believer either. Great place to go.
3 Easterly Rd, Leeds LS8 2TN, UK – 0113 240 6561
I would classify it as an African Caribbean church. Good energy! Great community atmosphere. Great place to experience culture. Amazing musicians and Gospel singers.
Beautiful atmosphere to be in

Just been in a the lads couldn't of done more for me, offered the best prices locally, turn around was quick and helped me unload on to the scales. I'd heard tales of the yard being a mess but I was impressed with how clean it was when I arrived. They've set me up with an account so now I can use any EMR yard in the UK brilliant stuff, will definitely be using again.

Billy always help us unload the car (My husband is 88 and disabled). He's so friendly and helpful. We don't have to do anything, he knows where everything goes! All staff at Meanwood are brilliant too. Recommended.i Update: This site now charges to dump rubbish! Only for certain items. Leaflets and advice for what is free and what isn't from Leeds City Council and the tip
The staff in the premises were very helpful and very informative about recycling in general, made my trip very quick and efficient, well done to the staff!

I've been here twice now and both times the food has been exceptional. The staff are all really lovely. The food is delicious and they have a really good variety of food and drinks. They also have a very reasonably priced set menu. It's honestly my favourite restaurant to go to
Lovey place, went for a birthday meal. Three of us were seated in a booth and looked after well. They even happily (and quickly) catered for friends who arrived after we had received our mains and they had their food quickly. Will definitely return.

The Sea Bass was of excellent quality at a fair price. The establishment was modern and impressive. The high cielings was a particularly good feature. The staff were friendly and attentive. The one slight flaw I had with the experience was that the bar was of a large size, but yet failed to stock the drink I had chosen from the menu. This is not a big deal as far as I am concerned especially considering the young man serving us was very pleasant to deal with. Just as a bit of constructive feedback, please make sure you are copiously stocked on the items on your menu (otherwise let the consumer know beforehand). Apart from that slight operational glitch, thoroughly enjoyed the evening In a good dining establishment.
We sat outside and it's a lovely atmosphere. Food and drink on the expensive side but the food is good quality. Service was very very slow on a busy day so avoid when busy if you mind waiting around for ages (over an hour for food to come out and an hour between starter and main). They have a vegan menu which is brilliant but the waiter didn't let us know this so I had to get up and ask as the veggie options are limited on the main menu and I had seen on Facebook they have a vegan menu. There were lots of waiting on staff who just seemed to be standing around but they may have been on other sections. The service charge is automatically included (10%) which I really don't like and puts me off tipping all together - we were a table of 4 people. Because of the length of time we waited for everything we asked for this to be removed.

The first time I tried Shabab, I was not pleased with the service. The food brought me back though. Since that time, the service has been outstanding. The menu has dishes in a variety of styles. I'm not savvy on the difference, but every dish I've tried has been excellent. The smoked lamb is one of my all-time favorites. Every time I am in Leeds I make sure to eat at least one meal here.
***AMAZING*** The service and the food at Shabab was second to none!! All the staff were very friendly and the food just melted in my mouth. The best Indian food I have ever had!! We got the house lager and house white wine with our meals and they were both so refreshing!! I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be returning! Also - the facial towels you get after the meal are absolutely fabulous! I feel so refreshed! Brilliant!!
